Warranty is limited to faulty parts or workmanship on internal moving parts of the power head (parts & labor only). All break-in instructions must be strictly followed during the engines initial break-in period in order for the engine to run properly and have any longevity. Any deviation from the above instructions, normal operation, any modifications, disassembly, misuse, neglect, improper operation, or adjustments made by anyone other than an authorized representative of JRL Outboards Inc. shall void said warranty. Purchaser will not be reimbursed for any associated costs or expenses incurred if any warranty repair work is performed by anyone other than JRL Outboards Inc., unless specifically authorized in writing ahead of time. JRL Outboards Inc. will not be held liable for any associated damages or expenses. Purchaser shall be responsible for all freight, shipping and/or transportation expenses. Warranty on internal moving parts replaced during rebuilding process shall be subject to their manufacturer’s express limited warranty. Electronic and/or external engine parts will be exempt from this coverage unless listed on invoice at time of purchase. At no time will overheat, detonation, oil injection system failures, improperly mixed gas and oil, or any out of oil situations be covered under this warranty. No warranty is offered or implied for engines, power heads or parts used for rental or commercial purposes. Any and all returns for refund must be authorized ahead of time by a duly authorized representative of JRL Outboards Inc. in writing and will be for store credit only - cash refunds will not be given at any time. There are no returns allowed on any electrical components or for any custom or specialty "built to order" items. All said returns or refunds shall also be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge.
